Of all the flaws on diecasts, which is the one that bothers you most, i.e., incorrect scaling, paint chips, missing parts, etc.?

How many of your models have such a flaw?

For me, it's paint problems. Most of my models are okay, but some do have minor paint imperfections.

For me, it's paint problems followed by misalinged stickers/tampos.

Nearly every model has something wrong with it unfortunately as nothing is perfect, but companies like AUTOart need to improve their Q.C.

Luckily my AUTOart's aren't too bad. My Murcielago has a ripped door sill "sticker", and my BMW Z8 has a few small marks on the trunk. The first AUTOart Mazda RX-8 I received had a huge slash on the roof that went all the way through the paint, of course I returned that.

I've also had many cars that were missing paint, like the AUTOart M3 CSL, where the driver side door had a very thin layer of paint :giggle And my Maisto Z4's right side mirror has a spot without paint too. How can they forget to paint whole doors or mirrors? :lol

Paint blemishes on the exterior and interior for me.

I have a black 645Ci with the red interior, but there is a black paint blob on one of the seat! :ranting

Out of scale can be the worst, but then again, out of scale parts on a model can be pretty bad.

The CMC SLR's wheels being to small with very thick tyres, that has always stuck in my head as something that bothers me just as much as locator pins in lights, and like on the Maisto Lambo Gallardo with its massive gearstick.

And decals are a pain in the @R$E, as well as parts missing (Although tat has only happened once to me)

I can live with some flaws or descrepancies if they are small.

However, without mentioning any specifics, anything that throws the entire model off gets under my skin.

Example: CC Bob Jane Camaro
A beautifully detailed model, inside and out, however, that is not a Camaro by a long shot.

I absolutely hate when the wheels aren't perfectly centered inside the wheel arches (e.g. my Kyosho 745i or the AUTOart Subary Impreza WRX); second and third place would be paint flaws and stickers/decals.

Scaling and height off the ground for me are big but the biggest is if a feature or detail is misproportioned. Like if the lights are the wrong shape and stuff like that. It doesn't happen very often but when it does, you have a tough time telling what car the model is even of!
