Has anyone encountered this problem on the GMP 312 PB Targa Florio model? Its been on display in a Minichamps 1:18th display case for approx three months. It has not been in direct sun light, the base has of the display case has not been polished with any kind of polish, has at one time it was thought that this helped to accelerate the melting of Minichamps wheels if not th cause. Only three are affeced both rears and one front and the melting pocess has left visable flaspots and has lo removed some of the paint off the base where the raers sat?
Would it bean any good contacting ACME, too see if they have any replacemts even though tecnically its not their problem, any ideas would be greatfully recieved!

GMP, its the only one that has this probelm. the others including the first 312 PB that GMP prodcued and several of the P4's. I,m goinmg to see the seller at the NEC tpy fair to see if any thing can be done but I have tried flushing in water yhat some times worked on Minichamps but to no avail. Its a bit off a worry as I can not see why this is hapening and can not stop it. I was really hoping thatr some one else had had this problem and knewe of a correct action to stop it, before resorting to sending the wheel back to ACME just in case they were lost has it bad enough haveing a model with flat tires but is better than having one with out?

I would put some tape on the display stand or even a black paper so the rubber wheels wouldnt touch the plastic surface. I tell you there are too many chemical reactions occuring on these diecasts which tells me the manufacturers havent investigated what material and chemicals to use ^^.
