I believe it's the beautiful (reflective) dark bg - it really brings out the colors. That and Felix's uncanny photography skills. :cheers
If you ever happen to dissassemble the #51 Warsteiner version (white with blue "Shelby" stripes), under the front cover, you actually will find the driving lights positioned, as you see under the clear (yellow) covers of the other two versions. Interesting attention to detail, as the cars that I saw run at LeMans, some of the spare noses behind the pits had the solid cover in place.

Great shots, as usual, Felix, but don't make me pull out my group shot!
