Neat Citroen, I presume?
Neat Citroen, I presume?I guess my latest acquisition and an unexpected Christmas gift to myself fits in here . I don't have a good picture of it, so I'm stealing someone else's:

Great stuff! Yes, customs are counted, too! 😀Not the greatest model ever, but this is a rare 1:18 Meccano / Triang Ferrari 512S Speciale 1969. I changed the stock wheels but have kept the originals and the rather nice original box. It must be quite rare as I've not seen many in my thirty-odd years of model buying.

A GMP McLaren M8 that I repainted. Are we counting customs?

Not 1:18 and not a car (1:12 Bluebird K7 boat) but quite a special model for me

Neat -- I love concept cars and wish more of them were made! Thanks, though I know there are people here with some absolutely beautiful and rare models of all sorts. The big Thrust SSC comes to mind!
I have this 1/4 scale concept car too -

DS19 Chapron to be exact. I've learned about them only recently and never seen one in the flesh, despite visiting the Netherlands a couple of times. It was offered by Citroen dealerships but actually made by a coachbuilder/dealer Henri Chapron, which made the process more complicated than necessary in the spirit of French automobile I guessNeat Citroen, I presume?![]()
still one of the coolest models I've owned
Thanks for the history!DS19 Chapron to be exact. I've learned about them only recently and never seen one in the flesh, despite visiting the Netherlands a couple of times. It was offered by Citroen dealerships but actually made by a coachbuilder/dealer Henri Chapron, which made the process more complicated than necessary in the spirit of French automobile I guessWhole assembled DSes with some structural changes went to Chapron from the factory only to be cut and reassembled again as cabriolets. Original Chaprons are so expensive nowadays that people continue to make the conversions. The side view of the roofless DS sitting low on its hydropneumatic suspension is - in my hunble opinion - one of the best silhouettes in the history of automobile.
Wow -- very unique indeed! 😃
Gorgeous -- and beautifully photographed as usual, Marios! 👏My unique car is the The Hispano-Suiza H6B Dubonnet Xenia
