When in doubt if anything has been posted before on DX, rather than using the forum search (which is not very reliable), you can use Google with the "site:website.com" syntax followed by the terms to search, like this:
site:diecastxchange.com hongqi
Outside of budget models, has anything not been posted on the xchange at any one time??
At least for me anything diecast I've ever looked for was purchased and showcased by someone here in the past 20 years.

If you're wondering why this is unique, it's because I replaced the rather unconvincing one piece 'plastic' engine cover which is on the original AUTOart versions.
Mine has a genuine Fiat 600D cover, held up by struts as were the cars back in period, I also re positioned the exhaust under the car as was the case back then.
Obviously the decals turn a 'street' car into a genuine race replica - I don't understand the idea of pure race models without the correct war paint.

Oh noes. I actually started looking for them the second I read this 😁 It's gorgeous. I learn a lot about cars from the models I stumble upon here so I'm not at all surprised, especially in this case. This Dauer (and its sister Koenig C62) is probably the only actual street-legal prototype race car to date.I have a thing for oddball 90's supercars, as in the non-Ferrari/Lambo/etc kind (although I do love the more mainstream supercars). I also like models of trucks, both normal and commercial. Here are a few examples of some of the oddball stuff that I honestly never thought would get made in 1/18:

I'm sure someone else has the Nissan as it was for sale at bargain prices at CK and Modellsimo for a while, but I know it's a divisive car.

This Skyline may be unusual because it comes with no tobacco logos, so these are all added aftermarket ones.
