I am wondering if it is too little, too late with the older F1 car announcements. Most of the newer collectors would have been born post 2005. How many would want a 44 year old race car.

They give side windows for the mistral which is USD $20~30. But on the F12 Competizione which is signature there are no side windows. Weird.

The yellow one I got from the last mix of sam’s club doesn’t have side windows. I think only the Chinese versions come with the side windows. But I have seen no version of the 812 with side windows which sucks.

I suppose it's ok, but the solid plastic vents kills it for me.

They don't want to increase the cost by making separate metal mesh pieces, but I'm pretty sure it's possible to devise a simple and cheap solution to perforate the plastic and make the vents look see-thru. But it's BBurago after all...

If I'm to add the F80, then I guess I'll be saving up for the BBR version...

I hope we get lucky and get a Chinese market exclusive version with metal perforated mesh (similar to the Daytona SP3)

@subbuamada: Your timing is perfect: I just spent an hour browsing multiple sites and the 2025 BBurago Ferrari catalog to find their best version of the F80. Note that they are producing the 1/18th F80 models under two separate classes: "Race and Play" - a relatively entry-level version, still with opening features - and the more detailed, collector-oriented "Signature" line, so that's something to consider when making a decision.
