Famous Japanese rally pilot Toshi Arai had been competing in PWRC (Production WRC) for many years with holding a title.
Unfortunately, due to previous economical crisis and withdrawn of Subaru from WRC he decided to compete in IRC (intercontinental rally championship)
one another reason he is competing in IRC is to develop the new Impreza to be upgraded to group R4 from Group N4.
So, the season started with the famous Tour De Corse rally which he was driving a new Subaru Impreza R4 with these beautiful branding & colors

I really liked the livery/branding while watching the rally, and was thinking of applying the same colors to the spare part model Impreza 2006 I have in hand. and give a try with the painting and colors first.
I have painted the car right after the Tour de corse rally. If I am not wrong 3-4 months ago. unfortunately, the most difficult part of this project was to find the correct and matching decals which they never been released by any producer yet.
therefore, I had to custom make them and should cause a lot of headaches
so instead I decided to use some other sponsor logos to create my own rally model...
this was the spare part Impreza 2006 shell I have in hand.

first applied the red color

then famous subaru blue

I used some decals ready in hand and this is the latest situation of the model now. I feel I still need some more decals before I apply the clear coat.
