Just seen a video about wave 2 of the models in Canada, he only did a short format one but from the looks of it, the green AM Valkyrie, white Huracan Perfomante, orange Revuelto, a few other recolours (Green Urus and an orange Sian etc.) On some other videos I've seen some comments about wave 2 spotting (1971 240Z, 2003 SVT Cobra, Porsche 550, and a 1955 Merc 190sl convertible) from what they listed. the first video (Short form) looks like it had already been picked though, so there could be leeway for the rest to be there...

Cheers for that. If so i guess the 2nd wave will be hitting my local store shelf soon.. I kinda get the hint based on what Sam's Club received in their 2nd shipment.. AM Valkyrie is probably what i be aiming for, wont mind the green Urus if they did make that into a tiny SUV (almost 1/20) Surprised to hear Porsche 550 is making a comeback I might be keen depending on the colour. I do notice that each year Costco's Maisto pallet will consist of 1 or 2 Merc models and i am really hoping to see the 500K and Uhlenhaut one day.

Saw some of these as well as a yellow Countach, the black and gold Trans Am, new Broncos, Wrangler and a Porsche GT3. But if that's Phase 2 than it's been picked clean with almost nothing left.

Nowt in Costco Reading today

I phoned the Aberdeen store yesterday to check if they were still scheduled to arrive in store on Saturday and the woman said it was showing on her system that they were. I then asked if she had an idea what time they’d be on the shop floor and she said it would be for opening time cuz they would actually get the delivery on Friday afternoon. She advised I call back tomorrow afternoon to make sure though so fingers crossed 🤞🏻

YESSS! Same here with the branch in Thurrock, but I will call and double check since they told me either today or Monday when they get their deliveries, luckily it's already been dispatched from their depo.

No, I think I checked the whole of the front one - its possible there was one in the half full rear unit (I didn't see any e-types or Monzas in the front, so the selection wasn't consistent front and rear). I was there less than 10 minutes after opening, it didn't look like anyone bought anything before me (unless staff put some aside for themselves).

Now they have a huge 1:10 SF23(and red bull). Looks more than good enough for a shelf for $50... I got the bandit Trans Am too for one of those 'unprotected' models around the house for kicks. I have quite a few 'real' R/C cars in the collection too

Just managed to pick up a green Lamborghini Urus and the black Trans Am from the Aberdeen store 😊 It looked like they had a lot different models from the release back in September but I didn’t have time to pick through them 👎🏻

The black Trans Am is nice I bought that too to replace the blue one which i got during wave 1. I would have bought the green Urus if it isn't grossly underscaled. Such a shame as the shade of green they picked for the Urus looks really nice.

Blue >>> Black on this car. The wheels on the black one really let it down IMHO compared to the blue. I've already bought / sold two additional black ones for a small profit. Next time I'm at BJs (a somewhat regional version of Costco) I'll probably snag another one or two. They typically take about a month to sell, but it's an easy $12 per.

I really like how my modified TA came out. I'm tempted to do something similar with a Chevelle. I need to find a better set of wheels for my Maisto 1972 SS. The wheel design is right but on the Chevelle the wheels had an argent center, the Maisto are full chrome. Ertl had a much nicer version on their 1970 Camaro Z/28.

Blue >>> Black on this car. The wheels on the black one really let it down IMHO compared to the blue. I've already bought / sold two additional black ones for a small profit. Next time I'm at BJs (a somewhat regional version of Costco) I'll probably snag another one or two. They typically take about a month to sell, but it's an easy $12 per.

Haha.. i went with the one that is instantly recognisable one namely Smokey and the Bandit although I must say the blue theme is pretty solid as well and i found an exact reference to that in one of the YT videos a while ago.. But i need to exercise self restraint by not having multiple copies of the same model so decided to part with the blue one and keep the black. Otherwise both are keeprs. Speaking of Maisto's Chevelle, I have both orange/black roof and blue+white roof. Love both equally and had troubles parting with any but at the end made a tough choice and keep only the orange one which spots the wheels (not sure what they are called) that you typically find on the late 60s Camaros.

They’re simply called Rally Wheels in the Chevy world. You could get them across a bunch of Chevy models (Camaro, Corvette, Impala, Chevelle, El Camino).

When Maisto first made them in the 90s they made the 1971 and 1972 versions although it appears only the 1971 version is in production now. My 72 actually appears to have either rot or rash on something on one fender but it hasn’t changed in years.

I am tempted to buy an all blue one (with the black roof) to build another late 70s style street machine similar to my blue Trans Am I did. I wish the roof wasn’t plastic and fit better and had rear side glass.

Huzzah! Genuinely sorry for the atrocious images (didn't take any pics therefore had to resort to screenshots 😅 ), but just before my parents asked me "Why don't you check if they have any models left". I checked hastily where they usually are,but unsurprisingly they had removed the pallets. Luckily, there was an employee whom I asked if they had any left, and 100 models were left, but only 10 were avaliable/ in the actual shop and the others were In storage (this was the costco in thurrock for anyone in the uk wondering).
To my surprise, there were 3 alfa romeo Gulias, and a various other classic cars (namely the 190 sl which I also picked up).
I will post some proper pics as soon as I can
