I bought the third and fourth model from the same seller in January. From the Scalebay website (Russian auction for models is about 100 times smaller than Ebay). It's a shame that the manufacturer saved money and did not make a roof in the kit.

A lovely pair! I gave these beauties a miss when most Paragon BMW models were on sale a while back because I wanted to limit my collection to just the hardtop coupe. So i got the M6 and M4 in hardtop form instead. You are right about Paragon did not make the detachable roof for these as that will give us more options on how to display them.

And if the I8 continued the tradition of replenishing dealer openers, then the experience with the E12 was the first - this is my first deaf model, but the fact is that in Russia there was no E12 on sale at all, so I decided not to delay the purchase. And after watching the Internet, I thought that the I8 opens the lid (how wrong I was). As a result, strongly pulling I spoiled it. I put the I8 up for sale because I don’t like its color, at the time of purchase I didn’t know that there were bright colors for this model - green, yellow, lilac. The bottoms of both models look more like toys, but I think the I8 has them in the original, but the E12 is a complete disappointment.

There are suspicions that the model was from a defective batch, since a layer of paint is visible on the hood and the grille is a little shabby. If someone does not know this is an extended version of the G30 for the Chinese market.

That was a bit risky buying a unboxed resin model!😱 These things are so fragile, they can crack to pieces like a coffee mug.

I bought my first ever resin model this month, I received it last week but had to return it because it arrived broken in 3 different areas, and it was brand new in the original box.

 

The second purchase on Aliexpress confirmed my suspicions - they sell defective models. Shagreen paint on the hood and fender, glued levers and bumper skirt, crookedly glued headlight glass, a huge scratch on the windshield - all this indicates that the model was assembled in artisanal conditions, and not at the factory or assembled from several defective parts. Delivered by courier in 50 days (it seems due to the fact that I fell under the Chinese New Year).

How do you say "burn out"? I collect exactly 18 scale all year and I like everything, but I have been collecting for more than 15 years. Before buying so often, I thought well, maybe it's worth buying about one or two models a month, but let's say CMC, Exoto, Autoart Millenium. I don't want it to be too boring for me.
But suppose you're right? There is nothing wrong here either, you can always change the concept from quantity to quality and sell unnecessary models. But again, I'm not interested.
