I have quite a collection of diecasts (nothing compared to many here, but more than I need!), so I thought I'd join in and create my own topic here, in case people are interested.

I'll start off with some shots of some of my favourites and then add to it as and when I find time.

I do the shots with a tripod, but it's a trick not moving the cars, that's for sure (see the Alfa shot!).

I've never spent a huge amount on diecasts, picking some of these great cars up when they were affordable.

I think the Exoto Nissan was my most expensive buy ever, at around ÂŁ200. My Sauber cost ÂŁ108, which almost makes me cry when I think what a sealed resin model is costing these days...

I always feel a little sad when I see BBR resins for hundreds of pounds. I'm sure they're good, but my BBRs were less and are full of detail you'll never be able to see (and indeed don't have for that reason) on a sealed model.

I do love race cars, especially ones with some kind of memory associated with them, hence my love for Group C cars (there are plenty more to come, but none as lovely as the Exotos), but even just great looking ones.

I've a few road and show cars, too, I'll get around to posting photos of my whole collection some time!

You've got some really cool cars, there! The Silk Cut XJR9, the 155 V6 TI and definitely the 375 Plus are my absolute favourites (I've got the last two but the first is just the good-old humble UT). Honestly, I don't understand what you mean with the 155, I think the photo looks great!!

My Spark trio, they've been living in boxes for over 5 years and I forgot I'd even bought the Peugeot, to the extent that I'd added the Norev one to my cart more than once in recent weeks!

Luckily I could never quite bring myself to commit to the order!

I must admit, I'm extremely impressed with the Spark finish, now I've taken them out of the boxes and handled them! They're definitely worth the extra money over Norev/sealed Minichamps for cars you really want (I can live with the cheaper Porsches as I'm not a huge Porsche fan, but I do love the variety of liveries on the 956/962s).

Ages, on and off (The Peugeot and Rondeau had a receipt with them from 2012!), which is how I've managed to justify the Exotos to myself!

I love the Norevs, simply because they opened up the options to buy a few more - I wouldn't have spent Spark money on each of my 956s and 962s, but when I can get two or three for that much, it's easier to reconcile myself with

The opening Minichamps are good (I stupidly bought a No 16 RLR one in error, when I wanted a 14, which is why I have No 14 KH sealed one too), especially for the prices some sellers have them for right now - I'm very tempted to buy another couple, but I reckon I have at least 20 other diecasts in boxes, so I probably need to think about moving some on or just stop buying!

Not sure how well that will go though, was looking at the Spark 1985 Le Mans winner earlier and pretty certain I'll be getting a Moby Dick 935 if they do re-release them as they seem to be about to...

I wish I had that problem haha!! Nice A/B models! I regret not picking up the XJR-12 when they were selling on eBay for $80 last year..they’re rather hard to come buy now. I hope Spark will take a stab at making it, such a different and nice car

Great Collection, we have many of the same cars , including the A/B Jaguar, I was lucky enough to get one of the first produced, very happy with the model. The Nissan R89C is one my favorites, Exoto did a fantastic job on this one, the livery is great, and the engine compartment really stands out. BTW, very cool photo's , I'll have to figure out how to do those post processing transparent shots , they look great.

I've been experimenting with some more ghost shots.

The Rollei and BP backed cars are new additions and I'm determined will be my last 956/962 purchases (famous last words!

Not as 100% successful as my earlier ones, where the whole image is replicated, but interesting, nonetheless, I think
