Hi guys

wondering who has experience with Ixo models 1/18 Line
Saw a beautifull new porsche come up from 2018 Le Mans , but seeing the detail in a video showed a lot of imperfections so i'm still
a little bit cautious , since i seem to have bad luck when it comes to sub 100 euro models , i always get the bad one haha

also noticed they make a lot of race & rally cars now , same with Norev

I have several, and I would say the standard varies.
Some models are very decent, some less so.
What I would say though is they seem to be very good with overall shape - none of mine are inaccurate.
The insides are where detailing can be so different.
I suspect that much of the Triple 9 stuff, plus the French rally magazine series and the MCG range are all coming out of the same design and production factory.
I am happy to be corrected on that.
The key for me is the subjects produced, many are not available anywhere else, and probably won't be.

well yeah i do see a couple of cars from IXO that spark my intrest , like a decent 1/18 scaled RS Cosworth
but that one also shows a lot of decal and paint imperfections in the video's
the site i'm looking at in germany does show videos on almost every model they sell so thats a plus

this is the Porsche i was talking about

Which RS Cosworth were you looking at?
As yet, no one has made the effort at a road going RS500.
If it's a 3 door I would wait for Solido, although the most impressive version I have is the recent Norev.
It has by far the best looking headlights of all the ones I have - including those from Minichamps and AUTOart.
If you are after a 4 door 'Sapphire' the new MCG is quite decent, although again the headlights could be much better.

One of my favourite ever Porsche's! I might get the Le Mans winner. I had the Spark one but sold it a long time ago when no one had it for sale anymore.

2025 catalogue.

A definite for me is an open diecast 1971 Fiat 124 which may be the first for IXO and hopefully the start of a trend for such things (front doors only).
Almost at the very end of the catalogue posted above are two subjects of significant interest to me - Bastos sponsored group A BMW 528/530 models.
Car #30 represents the 1982 Spa 24 hours winner and is another definite purchase although sadly I suspect it's a sealed version only.

funny label there. For a moment i thought Chevelle being revived and even has the ZR1 badge LOL. Looks pretty sweet as full opening model from IXO though.

The 1982 Group A BMW 528i looks promising and would be sweet if they decide to make civilian version of it later. I presume that is the E28?
